Hand injury? Maybe he's had another fight with a cinder block wall somewhere. Never a dull moment.... The hand injury was the one that caused his withdrawal from the Eastbourne meeting, when the 2 Eastbourne riders crashed in front of him & he couldn't avoid them. I know the last crash was the one where he landed on his back at the start. But he did tweet that he was returning after resting his injured hand, so presumably that was the one giving him trouble & maybe he returned too early. It depends which forecast you go with because BBC have it down & cloudy & 25% chance of rain which isn’t that high.

Good teams don't generally generate any interest only those who struggle. At the moment its a good Lions team but to help the cause. Is Jack Thomas sharp enough doing CL only and would Danyon Hume be a better option?
Lenny Lion 138 Posted June 25, 2019 (edited) For about the 1 millionth time Danyon Hume’s averaged is over 1 point too high to replace Jack . Name me 1 rider whose average fits that is better then Jack , Jack is the best there is around on his average , We can’t a strong top 5 & then 2 high scoring reserves. Sad that Jack has chosen to take a break though but with no NL place and big fixture gaps its must have been hard for him. He has had a meteoric rise and i guess it becomes difficult when things start to level out. Genuinely not any improvement signings available unless a team like Eastbourne make changes? It would be great to see Danyon fixed up anywhere but very cheeky if its allowed at Leicester however it helps when you have owners in high places..... IronScorpion 1,399 Posted June 25, 2019 Rumours from a friend who knows .................................................. Are the "members" the committee of 5 or all the promoters that constitute the "members" who meet up at Rugby almost every month. Those who want to make changes will & those who persevere with who they have got will not, for another month or 2 at least.
Fortythirtyeight 835 Posted June 25, 2019 Only the Top table meet every month and even then it can be just three of them , the other promoters just get minutes of the meeting a month later. The promoters only get together when summonsed . The top table have been caught out making behind closed decisions on several previous occasions, ask the ' Ged Father '. The rider has left the club rather than the club sacked the rider to get another one in.
