Correct; Pocking.

Vojens was in 88 and 94 - the very last World Final.

I just thought it hilarious that this thread was about a recent meeting at Vojens, and when asking about World Finals that still had a track, Vojens wasn't mentioned!!!

Do they still race at Pocking?

Edit : Just checked, and Pocking is still active, so there is another one.

Just checked it out and forgot that if Havvy had won heat 20 he could have had a run off with Sam to retain the title

Haha. Just comes out with some nonsense at times. I prefer him to Tatum yelling and going "Ummm".

Don't think that's right, haven't checked but memory says Sam was champion after Henka beat Gollob in heat 16

No Sam had definitely won after ht 16. He was unbeaten and the next highest scorer had 8 pts. I remember riders congratulating him before he came out for ht 20

Is that based on scores on Wikipedia?

That page seems to have Havvy and PK both finishing 2nd in heat 13. I presume it was actually PK and Havvy was 3rd?

Y eh Wikipedia has Havvy on 9 after 4 riders but he must have been 3rd in his fourth ride so was on 8. Tbh I thought Sam had won it after 4 riders but I never rely on my memory these days. Looks like it's better than Wikipedia tho. Lol

Just checked the history pages at the excellent speedway.org, and that confirms it. Sam was on 12 after 4, and Havvy was third in his fourth ride, putting him on 8 alongside Gollob, Nielsen, and Louis.
