SVEMO statement- translated by google !!!!!

Sweden is forced to withdraw from the Speedway European Championship (SEC) qualifying in 2019.
In early December 2018, all national federations received FIM and FIM Europe's respective competition calendars for 2019 so that one could begin work on the national calendars.

Finding a weekend in the FIM / FIM Europe Track Racing calendars where we could run our traditional SM weekend proved impossible because there was no vacant weekend between May 18 and October 12, which was completely free of FIM and FIM Europe competitions.

This prompted Svemo Track Racing to make a decision not to run a SM weekend 2019, but to run USM / SM in Hallstavik on 27/7 (same day as JVM Final 1 in Poland) and run Junior SM in Vetlanda on 7/9.

On January 29, we are told that One Sport (promoter for the SEC and the JVM series) together with FIM and FIM Europe's Track Racing Managers have agreed to change dates on SEC Final 1 (22/6) and JVM Final 1 (27/7 ).

Svemo Track Racing has since this message arrived on January 29, tried to get One Sport and FIM Europe to understand what problems it poses nationally when making such a late date change, but unfortunately we have been able to cause them to change back to their "original ”Date.

As a result, Svemo Track Racing has no other decision to take than to withdraw from the qualification for the SEC series 2019, which has been notified to affected organizations.

In the case of Antonio Lindbäck who, due to his position in the SEC series 2018, is directly qualified for the series 2019, Svemo Track Racing has had a dialogue with Antonio and since he has sold in that he will participate in the SEC series 2019 to his sponsors, he will to participate in the series.

Unfortunately, this means that Antonio will not be able to participate in the SM finals which both he and Svemo Track Racing think are very boring, but the whole of this "soup" should never have occurred at all, says Tony Olsson, Grenchef Svemo Track Racing.

From the SEC website.

On September 1st, 2018, the slag returned to the cradle of Polish sport - to the Śląski Stadium - thanks to the Poland - Rest of the World match. It was already known at that time that the sledge track built on the athletics stadium was appropriately suited to prosecution.
During the final battle in the TAURON Speedway Euro Championship series, over 30,000 spectators sat in the stands of the Silesian Stadium, who were witnesses of the great triumph of Leon Madsen. By winning a set of points, the Dane sealed the title of the Individual European Champion.

Both events played at the Silesian Stadium were positively evaluated by both riders and experts.

- It's really a great stadium and the fans were amazing. The atmosphere at this property was exceptional. The track was very well prepared, even though the weather was not favorable for a few hours before the start - said Antonio Lindbaeck just after the competition in Chorzów.

After the organizational success of the competition in Silesia, it was decided that the final round of SEC 2019 will be held again in Chorzów, and again Jacek Gajewski and his team will be responsible for the construction of the track.

- We want to create a track that will be safe for the riders, and the fans will provide many passes - said Gajewski.

Thanks to last year's experience, the track at the Silesian Stadium will undergo appropriate adjustments, which will make the competition give us more excitement.

- We have many thoughts about previous professions in Chorzów. We will certainly introduce the appropriate changes, corrections that will apply to the preparation of the track. We will also improve the geometry to make the competition more interesting. I hope that we can expect interesting competitions - ended Jacek Gajewski
