Only three Aussies?    Not good enough, you'd think we hadn't had three different World Champs since the millennium.

I guess I can accept six Poles, Swedes and Danes and even five Brits.........

Who will those five Brits be, though -- top five in Brit Final, or some sly seeding for the favoured ones?

Aussies have one thing against them: Australia, on the other side of the world.

This has been done before, but the fact is that a new (a fact that defines things) has been set and that is about the meetings any country hosts. Because there is a lack of organisers for quali meetings since nobody wants to see them  and they cost the organiser money. U21 qualification is a good example, ten years ago it was 5 qualis, two semis and a final. Now its 3 semis. FIM has stopped publishing the number of allocation requests, but the last time I had that info I remember that the number of applications was still there, but with no meeting organisers what can the FIM do?

For example, ACU will host U21 team final and a GP quali. I bet they both end up costing money for the organizer.

The word was factor.

Only 4 qualifyers from each round, at Glasgow we have the following

GB - 2
US - 1
DK - 2
AU - 2
PL - 2
SE - 2

Not going to be easy

Last year, it was only top 3.

3 x 4 qualifies plus 4 wildcards in the GP Challenge.

Yes this is changed. No more wildcards, unless a Croatian rider failed to qualify (which is likely). Then only 3 from Abensberg.

Pavlic will start in Abensberg, so he will have 2 chances to qualify for GP.

So who would be the Croatian wildcard if Pavlic is unavailable for the challenge final?

Pavlic gets wild card surprise.  Plain wrong.

There is no other Croatian speedway rider. Pavlic is the only one they have.

Top five in British Final?       Lambert, Bewley, Cook, Garrity & Nicholls.         From the qualifying heats, it was Lambert, Cook, Bewley & Garrity (3rd equal) then Nicholls & Howarth (5th equal).     Harris was 9th, Ellis 13th.

Is it not time to move on from Harris & Nicholls?
