As a celebration of the Speedway Tavern being ten years old we are starting a little early tonight (7.30) and I hope that our choice of guests will wet the appetite.

it's pretty clear what has happened at Cradley and on this occasion Mr Mark Robinson is 100% right.

The Patchett / Pearson Promotion has been happy to leech off the fantastic support for as long as they can and made a big killing off it.

They then managed to get their stooges on to the Supporters Trust and access to what was left of their "fighting fund" for use to support planning applications etc.

They used that money to cover costs this season.

They have absolutely NO INTEREST in Cradley Heath Speedway now other than as a credit on their Bank Statements.

The "well is nearly dry" and they will vanish

It is an absolutely crying shame that a great name will vanish and this time will be a lot more difficult to ever get back.

As a Brummies fan I know how long it took us to rise from the Ashes, we had a legend like Brian Buck fighting our corner, Pearson and Patchett are not fit to be mentioned in the same breath

Not to mention:

No permanent track of their own and still running in 10th season.

No assistance from Dudley Council despite promises.

Didnt robbo produce an email from the local council saying that the current owners did not want to or were unable to get thier own land if the council found some? Something in my head is saying so.

Some Cradley fans in Prince of Wales yesterday were jeering NP, which shows something is going seriously amiss within what was once a great club.

You all Coming down Perry Barr for your play off game guys ? see you down there .

Spoke to a few Brummies yesterday that will be going down to this meeting .

Instead of moaning get down there. One of the reasons your club wont exist in a fortnights time is because you wouldn't back the Perry Barr project in enough numbers .

Nothing to be gained by supporters sniping at each other - we don't want to lose any more clubs especially in the Midlands - so let's all get down to Perry Barr for this match and show that when the chips are down, we back each other.

Don’t think there’s any doubt the supporters will back the riders ,it’s all about feeding the “promoters” back pockets ...

When Kent joined the league, Cradley would travel everywhere in numbers, big numbers. And were often many clubs book balancer when Cradley were in town. This season there were a handful at best. The big support must still be there somewhere, and with that fanbase I am convinced most decent business could take the club on and make it work EVEN as a nomadic club. And i dont think there are many other clubs if any that could say the same* (*re the nomadic bit)

Hopefully a big crowd for Cradley. Clegg fantastic round perry Barr and will suit Smith more than wolves does. Equally so Perks is exceptional at this level round there as is Hume. And the Thompson twins grew up round there. But hopefully fans from all 3 clubs turn up and if it is to be the last of a NL Cradley bow out with a big crowd. Support your team heathens fans.

Why is everyone assuming that Cradley will not run in 2020 ?  Have the club issued a statement ?
