DC2 11,150 Posted December 5, 2018 With Rye House’s results being expunged mid-season, Chris Harris’s average should have reverted to his starting average, which would have been too high for Poole to sign him. Should the BSPA remove Chris’s points from Poole’s results and award the 2018 title to Kings Lynn? 4

Swindon still wouldn't have made the play offs! 2

Because his average at the time of being signed by Poole was the correct (current) average to use. It would have been incorrect to revert to a previous average. You seem to be forgetting that it wasn't just the RH riders whose averages were adjusted - it was also all teams' riders that had ridden against them!!

ouch 1,191 Posted December 5, 2018 If rules were correctly applied then yes but the rules are very fluid and apply differently to different clubs. Decisions makers can also easily be influenced in a sport as small as it is now. It’s small because of things like this but the bottom line is, nobody care. It’s were we are I’m afraid.

Gavan 5,049 Posted December 5, 2018 In a word no............... The biggest issue was the fact the people running the sport allowed the final to be a farce by letting an illegal rider ride. And yes it was Lynn's fault for suggesting it and an absolute face that the powers that be agreed to it
