Looks like Gregorz Zengota will be out for some time, reports suggest he suffered a broken leg while training in Spain.

Google translation of a communication from the PZM regarding referees officiating in league matches at Daugavpils in the Nice Polska league.

1. The referee for the competition in Daugavpils will be appointed by the GKSŻ. The organizer will pay the judge
the following remuneration: lump sum in the amount of EUR 320, reimbursement of travel costs in the amount of 0.25
EURO / 1 km and will provide and pay for accommodation for 2 nights. The judge is obliged to come one day
before the competition.
2. If the competition in Daugavpils will be canceled while the referee is on the way to the competition,
The organizer will pay the judge a refund of the travel costs for the distance traveled so far and back
in the amount of EUR 0.25 / 1 km and will pay for accommodation if the judge used the accommodation.

If the ref was based in Poznan for instance that`s an 1850 KM round trip- so he would get 462 Euro travel money.

Not a bad gig !! 2 nights hotel and 782 Euros in his pocket. It is an 11 hour drive each way !!!!!

Think I'll put my name forward as a reserve ref. God, I could make it every weekend and make a decent wee living!

Dont think even Polish cars move forward for under 20 cents a kilometer if you really do the math. It’s still just a hobby.

His ban was until March. That's now over. But because of the transfer window in Poland, he can't compete for a team until after the next transfer window, which is in May. He's free to race in individual meetings etc.
