So shoud gp practice but Poland calls the shots !!

Why? Practice is not compulsory. FIM just needs to make practice compulsory.

But with the current TV deal in Poland it will only make things more difficult. FIM needs PZM and vice-versa.

Sorry but in this case your opinion is irrelevant. Show me the rule that says practice is compulsory.

According to the Tigers marketing manager from the Tigers Fans Discussion page covers are going down today. To be fair the last 2 days have been dry despite some of the forecasts saying we were due showers.  Heres' hoping everything will go ok, really looking forward to it.

Just wondering if meeting rescheduled for Sunday, how many of the riders will turn up and not hot foot it to Poland to ride ? Think at least 8 of these riders due to ride in Poland on Sunday

They will all ride in the restaging- Poland will cancel the meetings where riders are missing- always done it that way.

Once the riders have signed on for the meeting, the GP Qualifier takes precedence. If the riders tried to ride in Poland on Sunday in preference to the GP Qualifier, the FIM could simply suspend their licence, to ensure that they couldn't ride in Poland anyway.

Hopefully, it won't come to that. If the weather Gods play fair, we should get an excellent meeting on Saturday.

Yeah SR,  I think they'll do their damnedest to get this meeting running on Saturday. That's the way of FIM events and they'll only restage if the track is not rideable or dangerous. Only thing is, the rain might keep some of the less fanatical punters away.

Fair to call the forecast for Glasgow today iffy, lets hope there`s more sun than rain and the covers do their work as the last thing the riders and those people going will want is a call off

The last thing you want is to use the BBC forecast. Try met office weather forecast for possilpark which tends to be not bad. Also the track was fine when the covers were put down and it drains well so can't see lite rain this afternoon being a problem.

At the other end of the country, Eastbourne say don't use the BBC forecast....common theme.

Can’t put links up as in wet Derbyshire, Updates will have the Glasgow live scores and Sportowefakty have the other 2 rounds today.

Zarnovica starts 2.15 UK time

Lamothe - Lamerron starts at 7pm UK time

Never ever use BBC weather. Its shockingly bad and always wrong. If there is like 5% of rain they always say heavy rain. Theres alot less rain around Glasgow than what was predicted. If the covers are down I'd say Glasgow are good to go.

There was a quali in Berwick  a few years ago when I think it was postponed directly to monday from saturday and the riders were not allowed to ride in Poland on the sunday. Could remember wrong though...

Updates will have coverage of the Grand Prix qualifiers from Zarnovica and Lamothe as well, I will copy from sportowefakty.

Lots of fishermen on west coast Scotland use Norwegian weather forecasting agency as much more accurate for Scotland.Funnily enough a South African told me they use Nowegian service too for forecast for where he lives in South Africa!!
