FZG were rather hindered with Pedersen missing through injury replaced by Smolinski, they seemed to lack any belief fight without Pedersen.

Google translation of news from Torun

At a specially convened press conference, the owner of KS Toruń - Przemysław Termiński and the club president - Ilona Termińska announced some extremely important information in the context of the next season. The most important of them are two returns that Toruń's speedway waited with longing for: name and pupil. The club will still be called KS Toruń, but the team returns to their historical name: Apator Toruń. However, an additional member - title of the title sponsor - is not excluded. Adrian Miedziński's ward of the club returns to the line-up, and the team will also strengthen the most effective speedway rider of the previous season in Nice 1. Speedway League - Russian Viktor Kulakov. In addition, brothers Chris and Jack Holders will still ride in Apator Toruń. Tomasz Bajerski will be the manager of the team.

Grudziadz are running a meeting on Sunday as well, which could be of interest to anyone who is heading up to Gdansk to travel home... It's not too far off the Torun to Gdansk road.

I think they said it was a pairs format meeting.

Thanks- a bit of further info from the Grudziadz website(google translation)

This Sunday, Speedway President Cup Grudziadz 2019. Six couples will fight for H4 for the President's Cup. We already know the names of the first participants of our event!

At the end of the season in Grudziądz we will see two MRGARDEN GKM players: Przemysław Pawlicki and Marcin Turowski. "Shamek" and "Turoś" are the first duo that we enter on the competition start list. Both successfully represented the yellow and blue colors in the 2019 season and it is already known that their ride will enjoy fans on H4 for another year. The first of them took part in SPCG 2018. Then the individual tournament was played, and Pawlicki proved to be the best - beating Artem Laguta in the additional race.

We will reveal the next names of the SPCG 2019 participants every day until Saturday. The start of the Sunday tournament is scheduled for 14:30. Tickets at PLN 10 will be available at the stadium's ticket office on the day of the competition.

Looks like Torun are determined to get back in the Ekstraliga at the first attempt.  Wonder which senior Poles Czestachowa will look to sign, losing Miedziński and Przedpełski was hardly banging in big scores.

Przedpełski is officially staying in Częstochowa and there are rumours of bringing Holta back.

AFAIK Michał Gruchalski won't be eligible for reserve as he'll be too old.

He could stay at no. 8, but not as the U21 reserve at 6 or 7.

In early September he said he thinks he'll step down to one of the lower leagues to keep racing regularly.

The World Champion could be racing against a league one side on Sunday.     Should see a packed stadium at Gorzow.
