Anyone know how both riders were after that horrific crash?

Artur Moroczka suffered a broken wrist which needed surgery during the last week.

Honestly wonder what is happening to speedway even in Poland now.Teams seem to be built around maybe 3 top riders and then they have very little. So they might be able to keep the scores close, but realistically have no chance of winning away. Some of these riders are very poor.Just watched the first two heats of the tarnow meeting and a youngster just piled into Gafurov and then in the next heat another guy was wobbling around and then crashed into the air fence whilst at the back......A real lack of riders around is showing through now

Agree the first division has very poor reserves. Young throttle jockeys with big balls and little skill.

The problem is for the Nice Polska teams this season is that the best youngsters in the league in 2018 have been snapped up by the Extraleague teams and the clubs are having to start again. The thing in these youngsters favour is that the Polish u21 system is the best in the world with plenty of team competitions aside from their league outings.

I understand that. Even riders like Kevin Wölbert have gone through the Polish junior meetings and eventually it is certain 1 or 2 will make the grade

The trouble is, in the meantime fans get short changed because even in one heat there is  big gap in ability. And no less important is the danger to other riders. I can understand it in Germany, it is a bit of a shock to see this in Poland
