Uhh, it's Leicester with 8 riders not Ipswich!

What odds on Rory being treated like a proper number 8.....namely standing around all evening and then getting a token run out in ht 14

From Ipswichwitches.co

The away side head to Foxhall looking even stronger with the addition of former Witch Rory Schlein at number eight. The Australian has spent the past two seasons with the Witches and will come in for four heats when manager Stewart Dickson decides, making the visitors a dangerous outfit.

Schlein ruled out with a groin injury.   Eyewatering.

Was an OK meeting. Some riders looked good when making the start, Kemp impressed for Ipswich. Nicholls was superb for Leicester whilst Bates also gave it plenty of effort. Oh dear on Thomas and Perks though.

Very much a night of trying out bikes and set ups with some experiments working and others not

A good work out with the result of little significance - lots of lessons learned and stored in the memory bank

Ready for the real thing next week - bring on the Stars

Didn't like the yellow helmet covers though, difficult to tell apart from White - else my eyes are failing. Although I think ref was fooled in ht15 as I had 1st/2nd the other way around.

Harsh on Perks and Thomas in a Premiership meeting when they are CL and NL riders.
