Redcar Vs Sheffield CS 5th April 2019

Recommended Posts

This should be a close meeting. Tigers to pinch it, just, for me.  The smaller track should suit Kasper and Broc.

However, Kyle could use his bikes to be a bit more reliable and Ty could be a bit calmer and the rest should take care of themselves.

Good luck trying to get Ty to be a bit calmer. Team managers have been trying to get that for the last 10 years without any success.

Tough meeting for the Bears - Tigers look very strong and they have a lot of riders who ride the track well.

Not surprised Sheffield are confident and will need an excellent performance from Redcar to win.

If it's close and the racing is as good as last week it'll be a entertaining night.

Could go either way.

Redcar and some of their side have started very well in recent meetings.

Sheffield look pretty strong and riders that have done well at Redcar.

Should be a good match up.

This one has a cracker written all over it. Strong heat leaders on both sides and some of the best young talent also on show.

Tough one to call but Im thinking the Bears will take the points, but by a slender margin.

Get along and enjoy some top class action on one of the very best race tracks in the country.

Bears top 3 should win this for them unless Howarth can improve his current form and Proctor can sort his starts. Although Andersen and Nicol must be better than last week and Kemp, well who knows what he might do!

Attractive looking fixture. Hopefully the Bears will be on it and some great racing results. Looking forward to seeing how Zaine Kennedy and Drew Kemp perform but i'm going for the Bears 49-41.

Kennedy and Kemp, should have no problems getting to grips with the MPA. Plenty of advice from track specialists in the Tigers line up, all others  have experience of Redcar. Should be a cracking meeting, on a very fair track. Could go either way.

Second Half Action

No Cubs meeting tonight but a couple of exciting looking line ups for both the 500 and 125 classes.
Our own Elliot Kelly will get a good tough test before his debut for Mildenhall in the National League while in the 125 class myself and Jamie will be keeping a close eye on both Liam Sharples and Will Hoceniuk.
Both lads will be making their Media Prima Arena debuts with Will looking to impress and take the squad position vacated by Alex Goldsbrough.

Late in - 9 year old William Cairns will be making the trip up from his Buckinghamshire base to complete the line up in the 125cc heats.

We apologies for the programme changes but we had 3 changes to the 500 line up during the week.
500cc
Elliot Kelly
Josh Embleton
Kieran Douglas
Tamas Sike

125cc
Callum Gill
Liam Sharples
Will Hoceniuk
William Cairns

Stay behind if you can and give the lads a bit of encouragement.

I can only see a Redcar win here. Started the season well and think they'll be difficult to beat round their place.
