Well I for one am happy. Helps me with more chances of a speedway meeting or two. Just hope the crowds are better than last time and I am not standing in a big stadium with only 300-600 people

New dates for remaining matches before the final on Wednesday 18th September are

9th September Region Varde v Fjelsted

10th September Grindsted v Esbjerg

11th September Fjelsted v Region Varde

11th September Holsted v Slangerup

Doyle has pulled out and Iversen couldn’t do the meeting, so Beyer is in as replacement for Doyle, which seriously weakens Esbjerg

 Esbjerg are   into the final 36-33 up after 12 heats  where they will meet Holsted, Slangerup and either Fjelsted or Region Varde.

It was more an apology to the paying public, expecting to see Doyle and instead getting a reserve

Should be a decent match tonight- Holsted need to beat Slangerup by 8 or more in order to host the final a week tonight. Not sure what happens if they win by 7 ? Run-off or as Holsted finished top it will be them.

With 1 heat to go, Slangerup have done enough to beat Holsted over the 2 legs and will host the 4 team final a week today(18th) Holsted and Esbjerg will join them and the last team won`t be known until Monday evening which is likely to be Fjelsted.

Fjelsted easily saw off  Region Varde  to  book their place as the last team into Wednesday`s final.
