ouch 1,189 Posted April 17, 2019 Much like the Peterborough meeting I can only see an Aces defeat whilst our walking wounded find their feet at this early stage in the season. If their number 2 can have a series of breakdowns whilst in scoring positions we might just sneak it again. Track time and race fitness is all I’m looking for from this one. It’s a league meeting with points at stake, and all you’re looking for is “track time and race fitness”? Pull the other one!
ouch 1,189 Posted April 17, 2019 Ok then, Dan, Steve & Jaimon all unbeaten as The Aces take a 20 win. Happy now? 1

On a not entirely different subject anyone seen Fred Flange lately? 2

Arch Stanton 2,232 Posted April 18, 2019 Well looks like a cracking day today with no threat of rain so the track staff can prepare a good surface hopefully. I’ve been pleased with what I’ve seen in the first couple of meetings, track has looked in good shape (particularly as it’s normally a bit ropey up and down the country early doors after the winter) and we’ve seen some good entertaining racing. Belle Vue look a good strong outfit but we look as though we’ll be a good home side which is a leveller so we could be in for a cracking meeting. Looking forward to it.
