Friday 14 June is a blank/reserved date for both clubs so that would seem to be the obvious solution. Alternatively Glasgow are due at Edinburgh in the league on 28th June, so that could be switched to Shield fixture or run a double header on that date.

Most Clubs have another day they can use if required. We only have half the fixtures these days and we still struggle to complete fixtures(only in speedway)

Edinburgh are running off-night this Saturday to accomodate Scunthorpe and complete their KO Cup quarter-final tie.

May 31st was assumed to be the date to re-run the CS meeting, but if Glasgow can't make it then, maybe another off-night meeting can be arranged.

It is certainly in the best interest of our sport, and our League's credibility, to push on with this last qualifier and allow the semi-finals to be organised as quickly as reasonably possible.

PS:   Is this all that relevant to the Newcastle/Glasgow thread?

Not mocking him at all, he’s had a year out and wasn’t good enough for Championship before his injury never mind after it? But it just doesn’t seem fair to me, should be any 2.00 not currently in a 1-7 imo but as they say, thems the rules.

Nothing unfair about it at all.  Only using the 2 points sourcing a 2 pointer again are they not.

Not really, you cannot put Luke Chessell in the same bracket as Leon Flint and Tom Brennan who are getting 7+ points in some meetings.

Regardless if rider A is scoring better than rider B if both are 2 point reserves then it is irrelevant what anybody thinks.

Whilst i get there point about levels of current ability, but if both are currently averaging 2pts then as far as the rules go there is no argument.
