Unless you're Drew Kemp

Tbf he was well in the mix there.

Some absolutely fantastic racing here. That last one with dan and Bartosz was something else.

We're not a million miles off these Poles tbf, Kemp especially has ridden far better than his points deserve. Lampart isn't anything special but the Poles are just sensational.

Excellent to think that Kemp & Bickley are just 16, give them a couple of years and add in Brennan then we might have a decent stab at this competition in 2021/22. We're better than Denmark and Australia.

Got to have Bewley in as a tac sub over Kemp in 14, it's harsh but we need to give it a go. That's presuming Bickley does nothing here...

Kemp was indeed properly involved in that one, he has great track craft but lacks a bit of speed but that will come, only sixteen after all. The dirt was just a bit too wide for Bewley in heat twelve, needed to get under Smektala somewhere along the line.

He is but at least he’s amongst it. Like Bagpuss says he’s great track craft.

Scandalous decision. Giuseppe the ref should stick to making pizzas, makes his heat 1 decision look fair.

Was expecting a cut back last bend. Just not quite enough out wide but Bartosz made the inside work.

These poles are so quick

Really enjoyed that, after a processional first couple of rounds  the racing was excellent once the Danes and Aussies got a bit more dialled in. Poland in a different league as a unit but Lambert was untouchable after heat one. Flint rode very well in his one heat, perhaps ought to have had a couple more races .

Well that was a quality meeting. Lambert in a class of his own. Some of the racing was exceptional as ever at the NSS and well worth the £15.

Cant help but feel we were just a rider short. We are not millions of miles away like we have been in the past. From my viewing, lambert and Dan just rode the bikes harder and whilst they clearly had more speed that is important. Drew is a nice little rider, good track craft but a little too conservative. I don’t think being slammed in the main body at Sheffield has helped him, he was flying at reserve but can’t help think he needs a little more time there.

Bickley was slow, really slow. Again he’s conservative but just didn’t have the legs tonight.

Was impressed with Leon’s little cameo. Had more aggression in 2 laps than Kyle had in 3 rides.
