MD 1,307 Posted May 18, 2019 Eventful night and a tough win on the road at wee Armadale. Paid 8 for Connor Coles, think someone needs to have a word. Best wishes to TB, hopefully not out too long.
Weeyin 1,022 Posted May 18, 2019 Speedy recovery to Tom, a big loss for the Eagles , well done to Tigers, a hard fought win, special mention to Paul Starke who has been struggling this season and Connor Coles who should get a chance at no 6 for us
arnieg 3,638 Posted May 18, 2019 That's a real blow for the lad, after a very impressive start to the season. Get well soon.
number6 7 Posted May 18, 2019 Tom was brilliant tonight it’s just a shame he got a bit too much grip which carried him into the fence. Not at all happy with medical staff tonight but shout out to Ian for doing all the running and getting stuff for Tom. Think there will be a team shuffle this week and look forward to seeing how it will line up for next Saturday. Although Jon Cook has jinked the season by saying he wants the more close meetings. Well Jon since you have said that we have not won a meeting.
cityrebel 2,960 Posted May 18, 2019 A few fallers tonight on what looked like a tricky track. With the heat leaders all dropping points and the Eagles long tail wagging, the crash involving Tommy B was a bridge too far in the end. The crowd looked well down compared to the previous home meetings. A combination of the FA cup and the GP on the telly no doubt contributed to this.
ruckerroo 792 Posted May 19, 2019 Get well soon tom, you were holding eastie together really. They gotta make a change or 2 after this
SharpenRake 1,505 Posted May 19, 2019 I hope young Tom bounces back after his bad accident, he's a real talent. Good result for the Tigers and well done to all the riders with a special mention to Connor Coles Anyone know why the track appeared to be tricky and cause problems. number6 7 Posted May 19, 2019 I believe the trip to the tigers on Friday night was more the reason for points being dropped and amount of falls. The long journey Friday and racing then having to travel back for home meeting last night would of been very tiring.

After all the Glasgow riders only had to travel to Glasgow with their private jets, ride on Friday night and then be chauffeur driven down to Eastbourne, have nap and massage before having to ride on Saturday evening whilst watching the grand prix on their mobile devices as there mechanics sorted the bikes.
blueherb777 571 Posted May 19, 2019 It has gone a bit pear shaped for the Eagles.Never thought they would lose two Home meetings on the trot! Hope young Tom gets better as soon as possible. Not surprised crowd was down on recent meetings with the Grand Prix and FAC Final in competition.Really hope things pick up for Eastbourne and I hope to be down for the Sheffield meeting. ruckerroo 792 Posted May 19, 2019 Broken leg in 3 places confirmed for tom, real shame. Wonder wether this will induce a change or 2 or 3.

Feel for the kid he was there trump card and losing him makes the eagles tail very long , how they go about it will be difficult to be competitive.

Be surprised if they were not already on the Phone to BWD and it probably needs 2 changes. As Georgie and Alfie are only 2 + pointers it looks like Ben will be the victim of the numbers game. BWD and Daniel Spiller would fit the bill but I don't know what averages they will have. Tom's average changes with last nights match otherwise they would have to bring a 2 pointer in for him and the Eagles season really would be shot.
