thecoombdog 2,367 Posted May 27, 2019 Turn 3 appears to have had more victims than Harold Shipman today.
Steve Shovlar 10,439 Posted May 27, 2019 Zach W chocked! Poole track? No starting tapes wrapped around his neck. He’s now OK and walking back to pits.

auntie doris 2,339 Posted May 27, 2019 Rare Knobs win against the Moonrakers in southern derby. Well done to Worrall, after fans were getting on his back. Shame about that Poole track, used to be decent.

I have no issues with Poole winning but when the track is full of holes then something should be done about this. Edited May 27, 2019 by hyabb17
John Scrutton 180 Posted May 27, 2019 Its about time that someone sorts the Poole track out in the way of big fines etc this is nothing new The holes in the track have been there for years not weeks Riders safety must come first But can anyone enforce these things Who is in charge of track safety ??
Grachan 7,351 Posted May 27, 2019 Whatnon Earth is going on down at Poole? Just came online to check the result and it's not even finished! Looks like a disaster area, with riders coming off snd getting injured. Nightmsre for Swindon! What has happeded to Poole? It used to be a decent enough track. I see Klindt just went through the tapes. An act of self preservation maybe? I actually considered going to this but decided against it, partly because of reports on the track in recent weeks. Looks like I made the right decision!
Jason.C 111 Posted May 27, 2019 Ridiculous roller missed by the ref by both Swindon riders. Even Stevie Wonder wouldn't have missed that.
Grachan 7,351 Posted May 27, 2019 Sounds shocking from the Adver updates. Not just the track, but the lack of organisation too, plus some poor refereeing.

People moan about the standard of racing at Lynn, which is understandable sometimes, but what riders do know is that they will always get a nice surface to ride on. No potholes or bumps to contend with. And yet Lynn have all sorts of things going on at their track including stock cars. How can Poole not get a good surface. stevebrum 6,820 Posted May 27, 2019 Sounds like another calamity at the Poole track, although one person is describing it as a decent meeting. fallers galore so sounds quite a lot wrong with potholes a huge risk. Hate to use this term but sounds like we have the ultimate horror track!
Bagpuss 10,778 Posted May 27, 2019 About time the authorities removed Poole’s licence until the track is sorted. On a different topic is the updates site infected with something? Keep being redirected to some prize draw / survey website.

Gavan 5,049 Posted May 27, 2019 You do have to laugh at Steve Shovlar The Poole track is a disgrace and the prat lords it up as some sort of great result for Poole How long did that meeting take to run? Crash after crash and riders coasting round staying in position........ Obviously Shovlar doesnt care as Poole won and in his world thats all that matters The sport that fans love is dying and Poole speedway are playing a huge part in that Apparantly it was a good meeting as one of the best riders in the world passed a journeyman so that makes it good racing The BSPA need to sort out Poole speedway......fine or even a points deduction..make them sort the track out Poole and a couple of their fans are an absolute disgrace 1
