result does not do the racing any justice, fab meeting and an unbelievable dusty track later in the meeting.

It was unusually dusty. Was getting a good filling in on bend 3!

Christ that was a hammering for a strong looking Wolves side.

It seems standard fair for us at the NSS.

An entertaining meeting, if you were a Belle Vue fan. Track was a little dusty at heat 14, but with a strong drying wind, better a little dust than an overwatered track.

Could well see a reversal of the scores tonight, Belle Vue have few, if any riders that are good around Wolverhampton, unfortunately these days you have the big track/little track difference, which leads to these expected results.

I still think Wolves have a better chance of making the play-offs than Belle Vue.

Stevie is a track specialist having ridden many a season at Cradley.

Bjerre has been one of the most exciting riders at the Green over the years.

Wells is a Wolves asset.

Fricke has had decent meetings at the Green.

its the opposite. Belle Vue usually have riders who can ride Monmore well, that’s why they are probably our most feared visitors. And have often come away with points on the bag.

Aces win tonight.

It really depends how you look at it Steve. Wells was awful last bank holiday and Max wasn’t much better, he has had more poor scores than good ones. Bjerre is up and down at Monmore

In years gone by I have felt confidently going there, when we had Scott and Craig in the team.

You will win comfortably tonight, although I said you’d beat us at our place so who knows!

Don't be fooled by the score line. This was a top quality meeting, best I have seen this season so far.

It started with an astonishing last to first from Fricke in heat 1 - I still don't quite know how he managed to get through - and was followed by a superb heat 8 in which Howarth and Wells threw their bikes at each other for 4 laps for a point - no quarter given or asked for. Then in heat 14 Morris, Berge & Becker came off the last bend virtually three abreast only for the Frenchman to get a puncture.

In between, there were several excellent races with Wolves playing a full part, although I thought they would score more than that.

The track was dry and slick with a fair bit of dust but with racing like that, who cares ?

First meeting in UK for Jacob, we have to assume his equipment and set up is exactly what he would usually use for the UK. Still maintain he will need a few meetings to get back to getting used to UK tracks again.

id be delighted with your predictions, but I will still go with 2 Aces wins. So yes you heard that here first too!

yes but NSS is an exception just like many polish / swedish large tracks !! so easy set up and he rode well today !! but if he was going to poole or lynn yes different set ups !!

Yes you are right. Get more value for money. You get 3 hours of racing and jot the 90 mins we get at belle vue.

That was an absolutely fantastic meeting, with some excellent racing, the score doesn't do it justice, well done to all 14 riders.

Will there be a dvd of this meeting?

Shame it wasn't streamed on a PPV subscription..

Would make far more money than DVD sales ever would..

Mind you, this being Speedway they probably wouldn't even do a DVD but try and knock it out on Betamax...

2 wolves wins for me.

Think this will be the day that prompts a couple changes with this aces team.

Told ya, Best time to race Wolves with returning riders. I’m not surprised at the wins for the Aces.
