A bit more than a few 100 steve

No doubt more on the back straight.. but that's not where the main camera focus is.

At the very least it should be cheaper for the seats for TV meetings to encourage people to congregate there.

Can someone tell Dan Bewley, he is riding at home tonight, not Lakeside, that's closed.

Not this bad elsewhere. Must be only a few hundred there.

Complete exaggeration, 600 in grandstand (easy to estimate as each block holds 300). The south stand holds 1200 and is about half full so that makes attendance  about 1200.

Not great but not terrible when it’s on TV and first Monday after school holidays.

Fair play to the camera man...

Keeps zooming in far enough to show 20 fans together...

Edit: He's just done it again. ..

Maybe they will all swap seats for the next time to make it look like it's a different section?:D

We mention it because it is one of the reasons why!

We all know that keep harping on about it does get tedious, and keep pointing out speedway lack of fans isn't going to rectify it

Maybe disabled, elderly, possibly turned the engine on for a warm and not realised the lights were on, just sayin..

Quick getaway at the end to beat the crowds

Nothing on the outside for him then. It’s opening up now so he should score a few. I still fancy Ipswich to win this.

They are vastly underrated and I’ll hold my hands up, I was one.

They are so solid right across the team.

Been watching a lot of Polish Speedway this season..

The racing tonight has been more than resonable so far..

If this was Poland there would be a great atmosphere given some of the close racing...

Sadly, even good close racing hardly raises more than a polite round of applause when your sat on your own..

If 1700 Aces fans had been in the Grandstand having been charged a tenner to get in..

And Ippo had brought a coach load who had either been let in for free or charged a fiver to sit in their own part of the stand..

You would have atmosphere and 'proper celebrations'...

And a great advert for the sport..

And who knows maybe some watching might think it worth visiting?

0 from 3 for Bewley says it all about current score line.

Fricke at fault but luckily both riders seem ok, could've been so much worse.

Fricke didn’t give racing room. Good race before that.
