My top 20 riders as at 30.06.19 based on current form are now as follows:-

01 (01) Jason Doyle-Swindon-1100

02 (05) Max Fricke-Belle Vue-1090

03 (----) Rasmus Jensen-Swindon-1060

04 (----) Craig Cook-King's Lynn-1020

05 (02) Troy Batchelor-Swindon-1000

06 (12) Josh Grajczonek-Poole-990

07 (03) Brady Kurtz-Poole-970

08 (06) Robert Lambert-King's Lynn-930

09 (08) Jack Holder-Poole-925

10 (04) Rory Schlein-Wolverhampton-900

11 (07) Kenneth Bjerre-Belle Vue-890

12 (15) Sam Masters-Wolverhampton-885

13 (14) Richard Lawson-Ipswich-870

14 (13) Nicolai Klindt-Poole-840

15 (09) Rohan Tungate-Peterborough-830

16 (10) Charles Wright-Peterborough-810

17 (20) Chris Harris-Ipswich-770

18 (18) Steve Worrall-Belle Vue-765

19 (17) Jake Allen-Ipswich-760

20 (----) Hans Andersen-Peterborough-755

I’m aware this is your opinion in terms of top 20, I’m curious as to what the criteria is for how you work it out? Given that you use the term “current form”

In past month Jake Allen has been out injured yet makes the list and in that time cameron Heeps has scored 9(a), 13+2(h), 17+1(a), 13+2(h), and not made the list!?

not a having a dig I’m just interested how an injured rider can be in better form than someone paid for 57 points over 4 meetings!!

im sure people have asked before, I’m just interested, for me if I were to do something similar I think it would have to be largely a subjective list based on my expectations of riders based upon my idea of what their current level is as a purely statistical is already offered by official averages! So for example Heeps would probably be at the very top of the form table given he’s been beating all sorts of heat leaders home and away! And for example luke Becker would be right up there given it’s his first season in uk speedway straight in the top flight and for me he’s far exceeding expectation, Charles Wright and Rasmus Jensen far exceeding expectations this year etc.

Used to watch him in second halves at Worky about 14 years ago, wonder what happened to older bruv James Wrighty who rode for Worky and Swindon, thought he would have a name for himself in speedway?

Not sure whether he is still riding, sure he rode last season.

The 20 riders riding above there averages by the most are obviously the top 20 form riders.

It's not how this chap does it though.  So basically form has jack all to do with it,,,it's about what races you are in,, as the supposed bigger races are points loaded.

Anyone can make up a system and stick it on here,,,,if that's your bag.

Jensen and Heeps have had a great season so far. Jensen has just won Robins rider of the month for June, just pipping Batch. Ellis won it in May pipping Batch with Doyle third!
