TB1 130 Posted June 6, 2019 A win is a win and to do it when considerably under strength shows great character in the team. If we have 7 fit riders and they all fire together then someone could get a hiding.

Lukas 911 Posted June 7, 2019 Another P## poor guest booking which cost us the match..we seem to have an awfull track record when it comes to guest bookings.
Super Blue 616 Posted June 7, 2019 Ultimately both teams can say absentees cost them points. Would Josh have scored much more than Kyle? Maybe but not too many more if his appearance for us was anything to go by. Hans would no doubt have got more than the 3 RR points but KP would also have got more than the 4 RR points. Oh and Jake would have got a hell of a lot more than 1 point so overall I think the result was probably closer than it would have been had both teams been complete. And yes as Chris Louis has admitted the track was not good so I think the overall result was a fair one.

semion 2,192 Posted June 7, 2019 Injuries, lack of available guests etc are all part and parcel of it now. It is what it is. Take the rough with the smooth.
2ndbendbeerhut 1,781 Posted June 7, 2019 7 "Ipswich" riders vs 7 "Peterborough" (Or in this case only 6 vs 6) "Ipswich" team took the 3 points. "Peterborough" got no points. Next......

You really think Josh would have scored much more than 2 + 1? He rode as reserve at our place and got 2.....so highly unlikely he would have got much more from the harder number 3 position Hans R/R got 3...................yet Ipswich only got 5 from replacements for KP and Allen....who would likely have been good for an awful lot more Peterborough fans blaming the bad guest and r/r for their loss yet somehow forgetting how much Ipswich were weakened KP and Allen at home this season have scored 13,13,20,13,11 (jake missed his last ride) So we would normally have got 13 and we got 5 so we were 8 points down. Hans r/r got 3 so it evened out Edited June 7, 2019 by Gavan

The promotion thought they had got it perfect It wasnt.....as Chris Louis said they over watered Good to see a promoter firstly admitting they got it wrong ............then secondly issuing a public apology to all riders and fans Ipswich might not be the best 'race' track as shown on the tv meeting................but its usually well prepared and not dangerous Have any of the Poole promotion ever admitted that they have messed up?

Baldyman 6,243 Posted June 7, 2019 I suppose one thing can be learnt from this,,,,, never go on social media telling everyone how perfect the track is,,,,, you are ever going to set yourself up for a big fall.
