TigerAl 6 Posted June 7, 2019 (edited) This could be another very close meeting, as we seem to be specialising in at Sheffield this season. Let's see how Chunk goes on his home debut. Edited June 7, 2019 by TigerAl
Charlieboy 412 Posted June 7, 2019 Hoping for a win but not going to be easy against a very strong Leicester .We still waiting for all 7 to click on the same day and we can't afford any passengers. We need to be on it from heat 1 and hopefully Josh has better luck on his home debut than he did at Brummies. He was looking good coming from last to first down the back straight before been dumped in the fence and getting his bike wrecked. Col 851 Posted June 7, 2019 I would have made my annual pilgrimage to Owlerton for this, looks a corker, however I'll be at the Cosford Airshow.
OdsalBoy 181 Posted June 8, 2019 Sheffield are going to have their work cut out in this fixture. Cameron Heeps showed us previously that he loves this track, combine him with Nicholls and flying Ryan Douglas and you can already see the points mounting up for Leicester. Mountain aint no slouch around Owlerton either. A tuffie this one !
KingIvan 3 Posted June 8, 2019 Small for Tigers or a BIG win for the Lions....For me a lot depends on IF Broc rides. He's riding at Glasgow tonight BUT if it is called off because of Rain then its on tomorrow afternoon. IF no Broc, then who do we have lined up to replace him. About time for Proctor and Howarth to score BIG...
mrss 691 Posted June 8, 2019 With all the rain in Sheffield yesterday and today, I can't see this meeting going ahead.

A lot depends on the form of slim though if Leicester are to get the maximum away points out this fixture.

justathought 374 Posted June 9, 2019 SHEFFIELD host Leicester in a clash of the Championship’s current top two sides today (Sunday, 5.30pm).The Lions lead the standings by five points and have already won once at Owlerton this season in the Shield.Meanwhile, the hosts have been taken to last-heat deciders in several recent home matches, but do have three wins out of three on their own circuit in the league.Josh MacDonald makes his home debut for the Tigers, whilst the Lions bring in Cameron Heeps to guest for the injured Josh Bates.Sheffield No.1 Danny King said: “Things have been a bit too close for comfort in our last few meetings and ideally we’d start making life a bit easier for ourselves in the earlier stages.“But Leicester have already shown how strong they are this year and we’re going to need all of the boys firing to beat them.”SHEFFIELD: Danny King, Drew Kemp, Ty Proctor, Broc Nicol, Kyle Howarth, Zaine Kennedy, Josh MacDonald.LEICESTER: Scott Nicholls, Ellis Perks, Cameron Heeps, Ryan Douglas, Richie Worrall, Jack Thomas, Connor Mountain.
