Ipswich v Swindon Prem Lge 13th June 2019

Recommended Posts

The Witches welcome the Swindon Robins to Foxhall this Thursday, with Ipswich trying to maintain their unbeaten home run. Hopefully both sides will be close to fielding their respective official line ups, with Eddie Kennett making his home debut. The weather forecast is looking good for Thursday, and it could be a close one with the League's top rider Jason Doyle leading the Robins.

If Swindon are missing Musi then it will be a big blow for them - he really did look awesome in his first visit

Gonna be tough for the Witches regardless. Doyle will only improve on his last showing, Batchelor seems to be one of the most in form riders anywhere right now and Ellis will do well too. The lower end chipping in or otherwise will be key

Im confident we will have enough to take 3 points but certainly not a gimme and Id expect Swindon to take a point

Good luck to Eddie on his debut - sure to get a rousing welcome from the Massif :t:

Depending on who Swindon have in for Zach, it could be a big 4 PL points for the Robins - hope so anyway :t:

I find it odd that Witches fans are moaning about Bomber yet are flying high in the league. You should be very happy!

The Bellego change took far too long although it was pleasing to see a change, bomber needs to bomb on now

Knowing how well he performs at nss, perhaps that had a bearing

Especially as this was the write up on the weekly round ups a day later.

IPSWICH
“David rode really well tonight and it was a track we expected him to go well on. He needs to perform like that on Thursday and be a bit more consistent, but he was great tonight.”
Witches boss Ritchie Hawkins was encouraged by a good showing from French star David Bellego in Monday’s narrow defeat at Belle Vue from which the Suffolk side took a league point.

So witches kept him to pick up a league point at belle vue, how many points have they lost or allowed other teams to gain

If witches lose and Bomber scores poorly, needs to be the next one gone that week

Just cos they are doing better than expected,, doesn't mean they can't do even better.
