Jasper 0 Posted June 12, 2019 I am in Gdyina/Gdansk over the period of 23rd - 26th of June and was wondering if any one knew of any speedway meetings taking place over that time in the locality? Ive checked fixture lists but can't make out if there is or not! Also any ideas for a bit of speedway tourism would be greatly received..Many thanks in advance. HenryW 1,178 Posted June 12, 2019 The senior team are not racing on those dates but on the 25th there is scheduled to be a round of the Under 21 league in Gdansk featuring Gdansk, Grudziadz, Gniezno, Bydgoszcz, Lodz and Torun. Great city for 'Speedway tourism' with lots of interest near the city centre and further afield. Lots of stuff around the shipyards where Solidarity and, some say 'modern Poland', was born. You could take a boat out to the Hel peninsula and see a real 1950's style seaside resort. Or you could get a train to Malbork castle, the largest brick-built castle in the world.
