If the test shows Night Nurse and nothing illegal as Wolves'statement hopes then should last night's meeting not be rerun with original programmed teams and last night's result declared void.!!!!!

Think there is a bit more than being told at present.Imo

IIRC there are non prescription over-the-counter medicines that do contain ingredients deemed as performance enhancing substances.

However according to this link re Night  Nurse:-

http://www.theathlete.org/banned_drugs/night-nurse.html

"This Product does not contain any banned substances according to the IOC, therefore this product can be taken in accordance with the Manufacturers guidelines."

So it would appear  that can be ruled out.

Probably did cost us in the end along with the dodgy starts that weren’t getting pulled back.

Anything else to add from the Monarchs book of after match excuses ?

Ref tempted by bottles of buckfast maybe , temperature of the track too high , Tigers management putting nitro.in their riders fuel , wrong time of the month to race a derby match maybe .

Lots of bitter Monarch fans about, yeah Glasgow got a bit of luck but every team would take that . Glasgow have no control over the referee, there has been many times that we had decisions go against us in the past. Some of the excuses from monarchs fans are unbelievable,  get over it , move on and support your team, win or lose. Monarchs have had some great runs in the past , winning more trophies than Glasgow. We were rubbishe for years , it is nice to at least being near the top of the table instead of bottom. Monarchs will improve and I hope they don't lose any more home matches , except for against Glasgow.

that product is approved by the international olympic committee (IOC) for athletes , but maybe a banned substance in the eyes of the FIM, or another motorcycle group inc the ACU .

it could come under the beta blocker medication that calms the nervous system down and AIDS the performance of the person taking it ! therefore gaining an advantage from a substance . I AM SURE IT WILL SAY ON THE INFO SHEET .. do not operate machinery while taking this product . it will cause drowsiness !

we must  all wait and see . Danny Bird riding yet after his ban for taking a substance ?

Not the first time this season either. Seen a lot of poor refereeing at the starts this season. Not just against us. But that’s twice now this season I’ve witnessed a Glasgow rider hit the tapes and the race not been pulled back.

No bitterness, best team won. We managed 5 heat wins only and no points from reserve after heat 2.

Yes the RR was not helpful and young Coles should use fingers to count, but sometimes you make your own luck. We could not hold on to a six point lead with 5 races left, and couldn’t get a heat winner in any of them, so no, points went where they deserved to.

Cookie still too good at this level when confident and happy. A Monarchs legend after all and without equal at the dale, though Sam might have an opinion on that.

Astute reserve utilisation also very smart by Tiggers manager, contributed to the success.

It looks a long season from here, don’t see any points away so cup is best chance of  success and those Newcastle matches are now huge.

Tiggers, rebels and Leicester look the cream this season.

What on earth are you going on about?   No one said anything about Beta Blockers.    Howarth has said he took Night Nurse.

Before doing a drugs screening test at the track the rider is asked if they have taken any medication.  Since he's said he took NIght Nurse, (and we have no evidence of anything else) we can only assume that NIght Nurse is the reason the screening test threw up what they call a "non-negative", which needs to be tested.

With a "non-negative" in the screening test, the rider is disqualified from the meeting, and the sample has to undergo a drugs test at a laboratory.   Of course if any rider's drugs test comes back positive for a banned substance they deserve to be banned for a long time.   But if what Howarth says is true, then the drugs test will identify Night Nurse, and he'll be free to continue riding because Night Nurse doesn't contain anything on the WADA banned list.  (There are many websites you can google yourself where you can easily see the IOC's list of what medications are on the WADA banned list).

There is a worrying trend from Promotions just to tell the public a load of Bullsh#t these days, when really they just have to tell the truth it does not help the credibility of such Promotions. There has been no explanation regarding Howarth yet apart from the” family emergency “ yet,so  we will have to wait and see.

Bullsh#t and Mushrooms fans favourite food these days:D

It's usually never the original act ,but the attempted cover up that catches you out  :nono:

Before testing riders are asked have you taken any non prescription drugs and Hogarth replied No according to every source , not calling Howarth as to me he is innocent until guilty but if the new test comes back as positive he’s been a silly boy

so here is part 2 of my night nurse post .

looking up on the night nurse site it says in the leaflet provided with the medicine , item number 4 (four)  it says possible side effects .

poss side effects ..DROWSINESS, DIZZINESS , BLURED VISION , DIFFICULTY CONCENTRATING , UNSTEADINESS , CLUMSINESS , HEADACHE , DRY MOUTH .

! DRIVING AND OPERATING MACHINERY .. this medicine can affect your ability to drive caused by the above side effects.

it also states in the same paragraph ....DO NOT DRIVE OR OPERATE MACHINERY .

we are led to believe that kyle answered NO to taking any substances . then he failed a simple drugs test and then i can only assume he told them about the night nurse . at this point i assume  the person in charge told him he would not be allowed to ride that night , prob as to the uncertainty of the drug side effect .

as said before , night nurse is not a banned medicine but the side effects can be lethal .

%100 correct to move him out of the meeting .

maybe that explains an awful lot regarding kyles form . too much night nurse .

check it . out for yourself  online as somebody told me to do .. !.
