Belle Vue v Poole Monday 1/7/19 BT Sports

Recommended Posts

These ' decisions ' can be made by one individual on the management team. If that individual happens to have a vested interest in the result then he makes his decision accordingly. Has happened many times recently with those on the top table benefitting .

One club can cancel a fixture as its not good business sense to run when riders are unavailable, another club gets threatened with fines for wanting to do the very same.

A club gets granted a facility for a missing rider when there is no facility in the rule book, another club gets denied it.

Several clubs apply to run on a certan evening but only the maagement teams clubs get to run that night and the others suffer the consequences.

it goes on and on.

Only an independent ' Ruler ' with no connection to any existing club will put a stops this.

Why can't the Auto Cycle Uion run the sport?

Well done to Josh and his team for the job done at BV last night. A great display of a Captains job well executed, “The Joshinator” is back.

At the end of the day its completely immaterial.

The reality is this. We had a genuinely injured rider and for reasons well outside of any common sense, we were declined a facility and made to use a junior.

In any world that is just really silly and no man is going to convince me otherwise.

At the end of the day the rule says no facility

Thankfully on this occasion the rules were followed.

We signed Tero but due to his injury we had to revert to our previous declaration and include Ricky. This is what also happened at Kings Lynn with Nicol/Lambert.

Issue 13 PL averages effective 1/07/19 have Ricky at 4.52. This allows us to use a CL guest up to 6.78.

Issue 16 CL averages effective 1/07/19 have Vissing  6.65

Aces rode against Poole 01/07/19

It’s happened like that for years, We lost Kennett last year when he broke his arm riding in a grasstrack event prior to his first meeting.

Its like a lot of rules in our rule book that needs reviewing and possibly amending but as it stands at present it’s no facility.

GSA are another story, they are so complicated now I doubt anyone knows them inside out.

As I've said before. Common sense should apply and it didnt.

As it were, it actually looks as though we were allowed a facility anyway so indeed the rules were not followed

He'll say Poole are rubbish for not winning by 20 points! ;)

Nope try reading the thread

Said Poole were favourites to win and they duly did........Poole go well at the NSS and were up against a weaker Belle Vue so it was the expected result

If Kurtz didnt do his usual disappearing act in the latter heats you would have had all 4 points

Pooles middle order are doing the business

Since when has common sense ever been applied in UK Speedway.

Is the top and bottom of it.

There is an established elite. It's as corrupt as UEFA.

Luke Becker was crap too. 3 points when he got 7 last time.

Worrall, Covatti, NBJ . 10 points between them last time and the result was 45-45

R/R , Becker, Etheridge . 11 points between them this time and Poole win by 2

I would say the result was pretty much spot on and expected.........in fact with Bickley replacing Wells (0 and not 4) maybe Poole should have took the 4 points
