Art 19.7.4 of the Speedway Regulations:

It is mandatory for riders to appear in the NDL 4TT, NDL BP and NDLRC; riders will be suspended from their next 2 Home Meetings in contravention, subject to the Directors confirmation.

This is what I pointed out on Facebook and got shot down. Riders have to ride today.

From the list of riders on the BSPA site & looking at averages, most teams have sent riders that are in the top 3. IOW sending a no7, Plymouth sending a no4 & Cradley sending a 6 & 7

But is it in the 'interests of British Speedway''?

I love the way Speedway over here always throws that little caveat in at the end..

Basically, "We do have rules. It's just that we might not always want to implement them"

:D

According to the NFL Pairs regulations each club is supposed to send two riders out of the top three by avarages.

Who is going to enforce that.

If that is the case then no £10 a point is not going to please quite a few riders
