plymouth v stoke koc 12 07

Recommended Posts

a busy weekend coming up this weekend for the potters starting at Plymouth this evening. with an 11 point advantage to defend the potters are in with a shout. Edwards for coles is ok but young William is a bit of a worry. the Plymouth side look like a stoke reunion squad with nearly all their riders having turned out for us at some time or other. just hope all the potters riders come through ok and are fit for the fours on Saturday. come on the potters give it some welly.

I thought riders over 18 had to attend these meetings and the "any excuse" is no longer valid? If that is the case where is Shelby or is it a rule that is just being ignored because nobody likes it?

Scratch that ignored and only a rider up to 3.00 average can be used hence O'Keefe. Stoke should finish the job tonight, good lead and weakened Gladiators.

Good to see that Rutherford has a valid reason for not doing the Plymouth match....he has taken a guest booking at Berwick on Saturday and that sounds more fun.

Rutherford was ready to race this meet last month when it was originally scheduled, he even headed down a day early to compensate for the drive from up North. Unfortunately it was rained off and rescheduled to tonight.

Due to his work commitments he was unable to get today off and finishing at 3pm wouldn't give him time to make the 5hr+ drive and be there in time to race.

That’s why Rutherford isn’t Stoke’s reserve at the NL Fours then, and Alcock is.
