Peterborough v Belle Vue - Prem Mon 15th July

Recommended Posts

If the panthers didn’t have bad luck they would have no luck at all this year.  Team was ripped apart before the season started and now down 2 riders and only at heat 3

Can anyone estimate the number of fans at the stadium ?

About two hundred more than crashes so far....?

Just heard they can't get access to the track on Monday and Thursday's in August so can't run a meeting at the height of summer..

Not the greatest of business plans when you run a summer sport on Mondays and Thursday's.. :D

School holidays and no meetings...

British Speedway...

Can Wells cover all 3 of Bates rides ?

Wells 4 programmed rides - 3 rides to cover for Bates and 3 for Wright(Proctor has 1) therefore 3 races with 1 home rider unless 6 down and they can cover 1 with a TS

Also, "Dan Bewley gingerly walking back to the pits".  Now that is really out of order, needs reporting.

When Paul Sholes took a knock he too got described the same..

Gingerist...

maybe Peterborough shouldn't be PL if they can't have the track on designated race nights!

what about other days, Swindon were able to do it when their track wasn't available last year.

Track is a disgrace, just like Kings Lynn last monday it is far too grippy and dangerous. Riders struggling and getting injured through no fault of their own.

Track records are great but doesn’t mean the track is good for close racing. Just means the riders arms are being pulled off. Give me a slick, safe track with close racing any day.

Looks like Buster has completely knackered the track up as well now ...

When will he realise that grippy tracks are a thing of the past. Cheap clay based material no good for entertaining racing.

Spot on mate, that stuff just doesn't give just creats ruts, especially when it would have been watered all day making clay base stodgy.

Couldn't care less about the result or the season. Just call this meeting off. Give Belle Vue the 4 points as this track is not fit for racing.

Why are you not there supporting your team?

When Wimborne Road had some bumps earlier this season it was always slick and never dangerous like this. The bumps never caused injuries.
