Damn and blast CW injured and not riding in this one.

Knowing Redcars luck, the only replacement they will allow  for Charles will be a district nurse on a pushbike with a basket on the front.

There is always Ben Barker... he is a bit of a track specialist... or Ulrich Ostergard who is starting to find some form...

Oh hang on a minute....

Shouldn't be, he is in the top three of the team. Should be allowed a guest.

Unlike Newcastle both riders left on good terms ( not sacked via text ) and are still on friendly terms with the management. Wouldn't be surprised if either of them became a Bear again for the evening.

I'll be gutted if Charles Wright isn't riding, one of the more entertaining riders. Was a hefty off tonight though.

Should be good for a couple of points off Agertoft then :D

Panthers site says Wright has dislocated a shoulder, nothing on Redcar or Brummies site as yet as to whether it'll be a guest or R/R.

With all these injured riders she may get some work.

G'day guys. New to the forum and hi from Perth. Anyway, i really hope this is true because i was somewhere and kind of overheard a former world champion and fellow aussie saying he is coming out of retirement and riding for Birmingham UK next year and its a track he will love to ride and was very impressed when he saw it while visiting . I just could not help myself to listen in and i know its bad to but really excited for him coming back. All the best guys

I think we'll do extremely well to hit 40 points.....38-52 is my prediction

It will be disappointing to lose, but when you compare the line-ups, I have no complaints!?

Ok who scores higher toe to toe ?

Ellis - Riss = Ellis

Agertoft- Anderson =anderson

Castagna -Toft = 50/50 imo at pb .

Ayres - Stewart = Ayres

R/R - Allen  = Allen

Hume- Woolley = Hume

Shanes - Greaves = Shanes

That is why i think it will be very close . Interesting to see how others think and yes i know this means nothing but its just a little illustration to why i think its evenly matched . I think Birmingham need to get minimum of 6 points from the 4 r/r rides.

I also heard Rogers on the Speedway tavern last night who said he made no tactical changes vs Glasgow because it would of made no difference. Now if i was in charge i would sack to guy on the spot for that comment. That is a absolutely awful attitude not just in speedway or sport but in life . What does that say to the riders ? what if the supporters took the same attitude ? were not gonna win so why bother going ?  Its with this attitude and mentality probably why he has won ZERO in his whole speedway career.
