I'm surprised he isn't at the track now refusing to ride.

After the shanangins atSheffield from Somerset and in particular their No1 recently I'm hoping our track team have laid on extra dirt for our visitors, they love a bit of dirt.

Been really heavy last hour, according to forecast supposed to improve about 5pm. Depends what condition track is in I suppose .

I think what this highlights is just how difficult it is to make a decision regarding whether to run a meeting or not. Its hard enough when the weather forecasts are the same but when they are different - and in some cases entirely inaccurate - that makes it all the harder. 

I learned a lesson once when I criticised Isle of Wight for calling a meeting off in the face of most weather reports - only for the one they used to be correct. To quote a phrase, even if the promoter gets it wrong, he's right and given the financial loss involved that's fair enough to me.

Sun shining brightly in Norham, but I fear we haven't seen the last of the rain.
