IronScorpion 1,407 Posted July 28, 2019 There has been additives made to improve the BHP on road bikes increasing the octane levels. Their is also cooler blankets used to keep the temperature at a lower level when racing in hotter climates. Obviously, methanol is different but gains can be made. Nitro was an additive used before where it was mixed with the Methanol, or mixed with the oil or even sprayed onto the air filter. Small particles , small gains but they make a difference. Even allowing more air to lean a carburettor by using a slim sleeve/shim in the clamping & altering your jet can make a difference. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
