His actions has always showed zero passion  for his nation .. start riding here and turning up at uk finals etc . his actions have ever shown one thing he cares about himself and his ego .

all top class sportmen have some ego as its part of what separates them from the rest.   and to say he has no passion for his nation is ridiculous.   You cant have seen him ride for GB or see his frustration last weekend.

Never been Tai’s greatest fan but admire him for saying as he sees ,he doesn’t mince his words rightly or wrongly .Rosco confuses himself at times don’t rate him.

For all his Passion etc Rosco clearly is not the man for the job. Anyone saying he's done great and over achieved as GB manager are simply lying to themselves. Tai scored over 60% of our points when we came 2nd in 2016 and only dropped a point in 2 days last year. Zero to do with anything Rosco did.  And its not a dig at Rosco it just is what it is.

Bomber being selected this week was clearly a bad choice and really quite sad. He's a 2nd tier heat leader now, that's it. To see a rider so loved by British speedway fans trailing half a lap behind was really sad to see. Again for all his passion and being a good servant to British Speedway and all the usual caveats that come with these situations, he simply isnt good enough for this level and hasn't been for the best part of 5 years now. Cookie going after his performance at the same track in the GP Challenge is understandable, but even tho Im a big fan of his, it seems he just can't cut the mustard at this level. Watching the Danish U21 lad leave us for dead was just about the final straw yesterday. How can we never find the right set up?

So in short, they do need to listen to what Tai (and Lambert) have to say and move on. No team win since 1989 and the only individual success coming from a lad who learnt it all in Aus and any future success resting with a lad who had a big part of his learning curve in Germany is very indicative of just how bad the GB set up is these days

It's OK moaning but who do you suggest should have replaced Rosco and Harris? Rosco is probably the most successful manager in the country, Harris might be on the downward spiral but there's no real replacement, Bewley might get there but he hasn't yet fully recovered from his accident and long lay off. people mention Steve Worrall but he isn't improving and often looks too rigid on a bike. If you look at greats from the past they were usually pretty good from the start (much like Dudek and co, Darcy and Holder), we had some bad luck this year, you can't really plan for that.

Do you honestly believe Tai would put anytime and money into British speedway after he retires. Why would he, we had a chance with the late GREAT John Berry to revamp British speedway and nothing become of it so why do you think now would be any different   as exciting as an idea that it might be.

He won’t need to put any money in after he retires. The idea is he invests now whilst he is racing and leaves the sport self sufficient.

The level of ineptitude on these pages is absolutely staggering.

No he isnt. Not tactically astute, not taken seriously by his riders, just an enthusiastic likable bloke. Not really whats needed at this level.

Not lying to themselves at all ..his record as a team manager at club and world level is outstanding . Woffy had been in teams before when we  have  done bad . Woffy should be listened to as captain but as normal he tries to take over the whole place and undermine everyone .

The botton line is Rosco has made every final and collected medals as well with a weak set of riders.

I will respectfully agree to disagree

We would have got those Silver Medals with pretty much any Manager. We would not have got those Silver medals without Woffy.

How comes we never did before when Woffy was in the team then ? The last  year before Rosco with Woffy in the side we were last in the race off .. I also might be wrong but I am sure  we got to the final without him in the side .

You could pick a million sports team who without a certain person would not have won or done well . Where do you want to  start ?

Ive never been a great fan of Tai and that has nothing to do with his on track performances which you can only admire. The past couple of seasons he does seem to have matured and listening to him over the two days of the SON its hard to disagree with his viewpoints. He was also correct when he stated that the British league was sub standard which it is with the top riders giving it a miss. What disappointed me with Tai is as a current world champion he didn't ride over here in order for the sport to be able to market itself as having the current world champion, Tai no doubt is someone the kids could identify with which is something British speedway desperately needs. Compare that to Jason Doyle who as world champion was eager to ride in the British league when he could so easily have given it a miss, so credit to Doyley for his commitment to UK speedway, I just wish Tai would have shown that same commitment to riding here and promoting the sport as world champion. Be interesting to hear Roscoes reaction to Tai,s comments after his poor interview.

With the team we are talking about here.

Rosco isnt the only blame here. There is something fundamentally wrong with British riders and how they perform in international competition. For years I've watched British lads in GPs or in the SWC getting blown away by opposition. Hardly ever seem to get the set up right, suss the track, ride the correct lines (Cookie this weekend for eg) Yet riders we would say are of lesser ability from other nations are set up from the get go. As I said earlier its no great shock that our 2 best riders did the majority of their early learning in other countries. They are the only 2 that can really compete at international level. They need to be listened too. Not the same old dinosaurs who haven't moved with the times since we gave up being the best league in the world nearly 3 decades ago.

I reckon I could do the team managers job, after all it cant be that difficult when you can count on your right hand how many riders you have to choose from.
