On the subject of food how come t’up North they always have chips with gravy or curry sauce.  Must be messy when you have chips in the paper ( only way to have em).  Whatever next, deep fried mars bar’s ?

Down this part we are much more sophisticated with such things as Samphire and Crab’s, Lobster etc

Chips with curry sauce is great. Had that when I went to Rye House a fair few years back.

That's a standard thing in Essex,, the other is battered sausage, chips and curry sauce. 

Up north I think they tend to have gravy with their chips

I gather at Eastbourne you can get a battered sausage with a chip on your shoulder  and a Glasgow kiss!!:rofl:
