Glasgow v Redcar CL 2/8/19@19.30

Recommended Posts

Late start for a thread for this important meeting,  5 points clear at the top should we win it .

What a week it's been already with wins at Scunny and Somerset since we were last here .

Be a toughy tonight as we only scraped through by 2 points against the Bears when they knocked us out the cup on aggregate. So we need to be on it from the start .

Ex-bear Mikkel B Andersen makes his debut for us , good luck agent Sarj at the dump , while the newly crowned British Champion , Charles Wright,  heads the opposition . Going to be quite a meeting

Definitely a tough one this. Bears will be fired up after their last performance here and we're going to miss Starkey big time I would think. Riss, Wright,  Pam Toft and Stewart can all ride Ashfield well when they're on their game and Greaves is a danger man at reserve. Our reserves and Vissings' performances are crucial and we will just have to see what we get from Andersen.

Think most Bears fans would be happy if could replicate the Cup result and come away with a point.

Tough meeting though as Glasgow are on good form.

The way the houses are being built around there might not be there for much longer. Do not know where they might be going?

I think, if the bears, can do the unthinkable and take a point or two, off Cookie and Rasser, then this match, could get very tight.

I too, would be very happy to get a point out of tonight's meeting.

A tough ask, but we are riding well, and are on a bit of a roll these days.

No score prediction from me, but a point...very happy. UTB !!

Houses around Armadale all ready there. Nearly houses surrounding all of the track. Not good.
