Forecast not looking too clever ???

When are the forecasts 100% correct or even 50%. When it says 30% chance of rain it also means 70% no rain. This last 2 weeks rain was forecast, v Glasgow, we had nothing & v Edinburgh, we had a short, sharp shower. Admittedly, the torrential downpour did appear last week but some 45minutes after the meeting had finished & that was after our delay for the paramedics late arrival.

I have kept an eye on the forecasts of which 1 gave showers from early morning onwards & we have had nothing, even warm sunshine for about 5-6 hours. It is cloudy now but nothing to suggest it will be off. The worst could appear around 9-10 o'clock if it hits the track.

Light shower over the track now, but blue sky right behind it, so perfect speedway track:D

Forecasts play a massive part in going to speedway these days, especially for those with long distances to travel.

True. Last year a friend & I ventured over the A66 to Workington for the 2nd leg of the KO Cup Final knowing the forecasts were poor for travelling but should have been ok at Workington. This proved to be pretty accurate that day but getting closer to Penrith we could have easily said "sod this, it's not going to be on" & turn around but we stuck to our guns & the meeting went ahead( not to our level of excitement at the EWR & the result going against us) but it was still a good afternoon/evening out(a long & a late one at that).

Sun is out again!

Why didn't Shanes replace Agertoft in Heat 11???????

Diabolical management tactics again......cost us our first away win !!!

Make our next signing someone who can tactically manage, or at least get Rogers some help!?

Because  Rogers is clueless beyond comprehension . He is a complete embarrassment with his in play tactics.

We need him out our club sooner rather than later. If he had anything about him he would admit he has not got a clue and step down as team manager .

Very frustrating to say the least! It's every week and it's really annoying!
