My 3rd visit to the NSS this season whilst on holiday in the area. Introduced 2 local newbies who were impressed with the evening and have said they will go again. 

An entertaining meeting with some good passing. Well done to the Colts

He impressed at Eastbourne on Saturday. When all around was chaos he kept his head down and got on with the job, tigering away for paid six.

Bailey is a slow burner and one for  the future but it sums up the rules of the sport when a Championship reserve can be a reserve in the National League whilst his Championship reserve partner is No.1.

To be fair he is only16 and is his 1st season over here ,all the other youngsters have the same opportunity when they start inNational League at reserve ( Kemp, Brennan ect,)like I said he is talented.Bickley and Flint both started at reserve in NL.

Bickley has only just started his turn at no1after Flint started the year then Palin, after his brilliant start to the season, moved there. I think it was nearly always going to be Flint or Bickley at no 1. Bailey just starting out a few months back & will soon be in the main body.

None of those lads were a reserve in the championship at the time ( too young ). 

Try to explain that situation to a new speedway fan, " he's good enough to ride in the league above but only good enough to be classed as a reserve in the Academy league ?"

Simply not right.

if a rider is in a championship side then surely he should be restricted to the top 5 in the NL?

and while I'm having a rant, no rider should be riding in all 3 divisions, simply idiotic  and impossible to explain.

The NL is a good product but it needs to look at these things and not go the way of the other two divisions, with guests, R/R etc .

Start at the bottom, irrespective of age.

NO rider should ride in all 3 divisions as it seems a big step up for 2 divisions never mind 3. If they are good enough for the top division then they are too good for the bottom division.
