Haven't heard any update on Schlein or Howarth,s injuries, suppose no news is good news, although missing Kyle hasn't made us weaker,it's always better to go into the playoffs with a full seven man squad.                                                                                                    Edit...See Howarth has been ruled out tomorrows meeting at Sheffield.

Schein is ok nothing broken just taking week off.

I think you are confusing Schlein with Batchelor!!

Think you'll find he is just as bad, didn't he have a problem with the Sheffield track when Somerset were there?

  • Thanks 1

Batchelor had no trouble with a damp track on Monday & has done well for us this season, raising his average to 8+ this season. Would happily have him back next season. It's good to see a smile on his face again this season.

Both Kyle and Rory have been named in the championship pairs at Somerset next friday

Didn't think he was that impressive Monday got beat a long way by Douglas in one race and can't imagine anyone thought he should be in heat 15.

So I guess the big question is whether Swindon get anything from Kings Lynn on Monday as to whether KL need to come up with a date to host Poole (17th or 19th?), assuming Poole pick up maximum points from their two home meetings?!

Batchelor was beaten in a rerun by the flying Douglas after hurtling at high speed into the fence. He has been very good this year enjoying his racing and the new track suits him for me with Doyley should be certainties for the  2020 season.

Holder got 16 last week in Sweden then was rubbish for us so maybe better at Poole this time, also Brady was rubbish in Poland the other night.

Lets not forget Jack had a crash last Thursday at Poole yet still managed 8 points - not good enough for a 3rd heat leader maybe but perhaps understandable.

Yes true but his season has been very inconsistent and not what we would expect from someone who started the season at number one.
