Swindon v Poole. Prem. 22/8/19

Recommended Posts

Should be the Battle of Blunsdon on Thursday night as the Pirates head the 68 miles up the road. So far this season Poole have come away with 2 draws. We have riders that go well there and there’s no reason why this one won’t be close.

Certainly Doyle will be virtually unbeatable and Batchelor is showing some of the best form of his career. While we don’t have that type of firepower we do have good scoring reserves.

Lets hope the weather is OK and there’s a big crowd for this one.

The new track has settled down now & is producing some brilliant racing, if you’ve not seen heat 15 from Wolves at home have a look on YouTube under Swindon Speedway.

Weather looks sets fair for the rest of the week. Hopefully a decent crowd considering it’s the holiday season & Swindon have an online promotion wherefore 2 adults & 2 U16’s can get in for £30, includes 2 programmes as well. Great offer for the family!!!

It’s actually 70 miles from my house. But faster to go Winchester, A34, M4. 97 miles but 8 mins faster.

Yes, Swindon definitely will win, just whether we can grab the losers point or not.

Swindon will get more than a two point win at home so on aggregate, which is what happens in the playoffs, we win.  It will be interesting if the Poole riders can cope with a track without bumps.
