iris123 20,969 Posted December 11, 2019 Looks like the Inn-Isar team are still hoping for a change of heart and obviously trying through the media to put a bit of pressure on the local council https://www.wasserburg24.de/wasserburg/region-wasserburg/wasserburg-am-inn-ort63092/wasserburg-unklarheit-ueber-speedway-rennen-ende-dezember-eislaufbahn-13287628.html?fbclid=IwAR0MrtKGwgqCNK_FhfkvJld74zbp6BW5z6vNl6H-LM2vCdsRpQhj3Z44kGo

Pardon the ignorance, I take it that means the winner of the final will walk away with the most points? I know previously this didn't necessarily happen ie someone scrapes through heats/ semi final and wins the event but has less points than say second or third finisher in final

Championship points are awarded for the finishing position. 20-18-16-14 for the finalists. 12-11-10-9 for the S/F 3rd & 4th places. 8-7-6-5-4-3-2-1 for the remainder. You could still have a winner who only wins one race all night, the Final!

Conkers 67 Posted December 17, 2019 (edited) Draw for the first two rounds of the Russian Final at Togliatti, 28/29 December 1. Ivan Khuzhin (Kamensk-Ural) 2. Daniil Ivanov (Tolyatti) 3. Dmitri Khomitsevich (Kamensk-Ural) 4. Nikita Tarasov (Kamensk) 5. Igor Kononov (Togliatti) 6. Dmitri Solyannikov (Ufa) 7. Evgeni Sharon (Glazov) 8. Nikita Toloknov (Togliatti) 9. Igor Saydullin (Kamensk) 10. Nikita Bogdanov (Ufa) 11. Vasilli Nesytyh (Kamensk) 12. Konstantin Kolenkin (Shadrinsk) 13. Dinar Valeev (Ufa) 14. Ivan Chichkov (Ufa) 15. Dmitri Koltakov (Shadrinsk) 16. Sergei Makharov(Lukhovitsy) R17. Eduard Krysov (Yaroslavl) R18. Vladimir Bobin (Kamensk) Couple of Interesting comments on the Russian Forum that the Shadrinsk Tickets for the 3/4th Rounds, at 500 Roubles. (about £6.50) are too expensive, when the Togliatti tickets are 150 Roubles (About £1.82). One comment is the poorer the region, the higher the prices! Conkers 67 Posted December 18, 2019 If you happen to be in a Newsagents in the next few days, have a glance at the new issue of Bike, which came out today. It has a seven page photo essay by a freelance Photographer, Greg Moss, called 'Inside Ice Speedway'. It was photographed at Berlin last season.
