Can you read? It's not what's been said,   he came down on his own,  got halfway up, saw his team mate was in third, and then sat down again till the red lights came on,,, then got up no problem.

He stayed down.....no wait he actually went to get up....saw what was happening and sat back down again

It was blatant

Didnt affect the result but it was bad to see

No points no pay..........fool...he would have been excluded wether he stayed down or not ..........do you know the rules
