Big decisions in November.

Team of lawyers?

No, I simply copied and pasted it from the same place you did. Except I copied and pasted it all. Not just the first line to try and make myself look right.

The answer to your question, it depends upon a whole range of factors as can clearly be seen from the rules, quite complicated, but if you were a fan you'd get your head round it soon.

Fortunately in speedway it's very very simple.

It quite clearly states:

"five points apiece if a match is drawn"

case closed

I think you are right on that one because the yellow and white colours are hard for some people to differentiate!

I do have trouble, especially when the lighting isn't quite up to scratch at some tracks. And when a rider has washed all his helmet covers in the same load and the white and yellows have faded

Too complicated I think, especially for a new fan, 3 for a win, 1 for a draw, 1 for aggregate win. Easy, you can do it on the fingers of one hand, unless you're Nicki Pedersen

How is a new fan going to know the result of the first leg?

So this was the result of a County championship match in early June.....

Warwickshire (9 pts) drew with Nottinghamshire (5 pts)

Blows your case closed wide open again. Just admit it you haven't got a clue what you've been wittering on about.

This always used to be a bit of a bug bear of mine as a lot off tracks never really mentioned it over the PA unless a race off was required

And how was that score made up?

... And it was 9pts to 6pts

Sadly for you it isn't, as the rules then continue on as you well know.

Next you'll be telling us speedway races can only finish 3-0 and quote "3pts for a race win" and ignore all the rest.

You're embarrassing yourself now severely unfortunately

You really are quite tedious, you post something that clearly says 5 points to each team for a draw and then argue against it... You should be on the Labour Party front bench:rofl:

Wait to the media get hold of that .Wimbledon will empty next year  what other sport would used  that system ..Bad news for golf as well with scoring system they used to decide the Tour championship last week ..just hope that it  was  not on  tv .

Perhaps speedway should follow golf and make the lowest scorer the winner.

Your points system in British League speedway is well and truely unique. I don't like it. No other speedway league in the rest of the world needs such a complex points system.

I'd recommend You to adopt the Polish League system as much as is possible. It is simple and it works perfectly well.
