12/09/19 Premiership supporters cup trophy 1st leg Belle Vue. v Swindon.

Recommended Posts

Although using R/R is wrong by the letter of the law, it’s a cup final and having to use a junior would have written the meeting off straight away.

Belle Vue still badly weakened by using R/R.

It is just wrong and a facility is not allowed R/R or otherwise!

What a joke that a rider can get a sick note whilst waiting for a plane.

Lets hope that all the r/r points are taken off the final score.

Mind you there’s some 0000000 for Swindon.

Looks like the wet track caught out BV in the early heats. A Swindon rider won 7 of the first 8 races. But only won 1 of the last 7.

The Robins 1-5  scored 38 of the 41 points,  But only had 7 heat wins between their 24 rides.

Think Swindon have got this though.

Good effort from BV. Prob not enough, but you never know! Enough to keep it interesting anyway :)

The awful away form continues. Can see Wolves doing a proper number on us in the 1st leg

Agree 100% & Poole will choose Ipswich so Wolves will clean up.

Wolves will win both legs against Poole even when they pull a fast one with Wells again.

As I said I just can't see how we are going to beat Wolves over two legs and ever  more so with  the Form Douglas is in now

Racing got a lot better in 2nd half of meeting, there was a deep outside line if you were brave enough and inside was working for dive bombs.

Surprised we won by 8 in the end without Bjerre and Fricke was poor, one of his worst home meetings of the season wasn’t gating and looked slow.

??

So it's ok for the sport to be nothing more than contrived nonsense? In a Final too?

Fair enough if so, but no one can moan when crowds then reflect this nonsense..

(Like they appear to do each week of the season)..

I wonder if anyone in authority has actually ever given serious thought to running Speedway in the UK properly?

You never know. It might be worth a go...

As let's be honest, it looks like they have tried just about everything else..

Didn’t BV have a choice of riders in heat 15? Worrall?
