What a mockery, speedway has become.     You cant help feeling, the media is correct, when they refer this as a 'Micky Mouse' sport .

Talk about shooting yourself in the foot...

Is this a cut and paste comment from one put on here last season sometime?

Or one maybe from the season before?

Or maybe the season before that?..

Or maybe the season before that?

Or maybe the season etc etc etc etc.

They never do really learn do they?

All to win competitions that by their very own actions mean they become devoid of any kudos or credibility...

Absolute Crackers when you think about it isn't it?... :D

Hardly anyone was going anyway. How about a nice Buster "special" Double Header. Just to round off the season in traditional style?

Poor old Ricky was carrying that nasty shoulder injury against Wolves. No wonder he struggled. Have to use horses for courses guests now. A real shame as it looked like Ricky was about to ram in some big scores for the playoffs. Our chances are now officially wrecked.

totally agree we are now severely weakened by poor old rickys injury and will be massive underdogs in  remaining matches, shame the promotion couldnt find the finance for intensive private treatment for poor old ricky, and poor old ricky himself must be gutted to miss the last few paydays of the season

They may not refer to it as Mickey Mouse but the certainly regard it such.Even a sport like darts gets more column inches in the papers.

He was shocking at Lynn,Aarnio was certainly better than Douglas at Lynn.

Yes apparently before Poole signed him,so why an earth did Poole sign an injured rider in the first place.Silly if you ask me.

It has rained much of the morning here in Wisbech.Stopped for a while and has now started again. The rain has to start and stop somewhere.

Never forget a meeting we went to several years ago.It was hammering down all the way to Lynn, roads under water and when we got to the pullover roundabout it was dry and the meeting went ahead.

I was probably at that same meeting! Just shows how weird and localised the British weather can be.

'Even a sport like Darts'.

That the one that attracts far bigger crowds, especially to Premier League events?

Since when was the 'papers' the entire media?

BT Sport are media.. they're broadcasting live coverage of this 'mickey mouse' sport tonight. Never heard them call it Mickey Mouse.

Or Local BBC services on their live commentary.

I travelled back off a Lowestoft holiday for this rainoff it was wet but not waterlogged however it was not drying weather either. It didn't really properly stop all day. Don't know what to make of it. I understand but probably would have to think twice next time I'm a distance away
