Look on the brightside, he's a damn sight more intelligent than BORIS JOHNSSON:wub:

May be Gappmaier was putting himself in the shop window and took advantage of the situation?

I have to say, I certainly expected far more from him last night though…...he was asleep at the starts and didn't threaten when behind?

He doesn’t threaten when behind at home either

Bandits' boss Gary Flint said: "Again these guys battled so hard for what it means to be a Berwick Bandit, and just missed out on the win which they are all gutted about, but we have a final blast at Glasgow on Saturday and the Tigers had better watch out, we've got our hunting heads on!"

Gary, Berwick just lost to the worst team in the league? Your team containing: a track expert, ex gp rider and two competent reserves.

Gary Flint's job is to big up his team. In any case, the Bandits lost to the team at the bottom of the league as it turned out, but not in that match the worst team as demonstrated. There was never any danger that Berwick would win; the final result flattered them as they managed to get 4-2s in the last two heats.

Not forgetting being knocked out by a 'mediocre' Newcastle side, who did a job on the club over 30 heats.

Like you believe the quote came directly from Gary.

...The crowd on a lovely sunny afternoon, looked poor again....

They are investing a lot of time and effort into doing things to attract kids in, so in about another 10 years when all these kids are old enough to pay adult admission, there'll be at least another 15-20 paying customers every week.

Many a mickle makes a muckle, as Glasgow and Edinburgh fans would say.

Fair play to them. I like Brum as a track, i've been six times from London this season.

Don't see why anyone should be critical of Berwick's performance last Wednesday. Birmingham always looked more likely to win and several times the match seemed to be running away from Berwick, but they showed dogged resilience in battling back and had a real chance of snatching it at the finish. A single point wasn't enough for them to keep alive their play-off place in the end - but they certainly deserved the point they did get.
