Redcar v Glasgow 13/9/19

Recommended Posts

Well deserved win for the Tigers who looked sharper and faster than the Bears all night. Heat leaders were excellent and Sam Jensen and Bailey both attacked a track they had little experience on and had some great races.

Off night for the Bears who were constantly out trapped early on. Threw away a few points with Riss shedding a chain and Andersen falling when leading but it’s hard to argue that they deserved anything out of the match.

Be interesting to see who picks who in the playoffs. Suspect who ever the Bears get the opposition will have no fears riding at the MPA but it’s too early to right the Bears off yet.

Wasn't there but off nights happen we had one a couple of weeks ago , i certainly wouldn't write the Bears off but psychologically that is a big win, getting Starkey back asap is imperative though.

Fair play to Glasgow, heatleaders were superb tonight. A bit of a strange meeting, Redcar only won 4 heats but still only lost by two.

Cook and Jensen superb, Jensen always has gone well here. Sam Jensen really attacked the track, and Bailey and Bickley picked up useful points.

The Bears did throw some points away - Riss with a thrown chain and Andersen dropping it whilst leading. There also won't be too many meetings where Riss only scores 4.

Deserved win for the Tigers though, and hope MBA and Woolley are both ok after what looked a big crash (by the way, not sure how that was awarded with Riss and Vissing fighting for the lead).

Look forward to the playoff clash between the two sides...

Can't win them all, but the Tigers seemed faster out the blocks tonight. A couple of horrible crashes, but gladly  the riders got up.  A good nights entertainment and the best team won on the night. Safe journey to any Tigers fans travelling back.

Are ok, wasn't sure,,, just doesn't make sense to be able to swap a 5pt rider with a 6.5pt rider, if your already over the limit. Funny the way things work tho.

An injury replacement is just that , as soon as Paul is fit to return he will come back on the average before he was injured at the British Final.

In effect he will not be replacing a 5 point rider the 5 point rider was only covering whilst he is injured.

Sun shining in Cumbria, its Friday, and a nice trip over to Redcar to cheer on the Bears B):P

Should’ve supported your old boys rather then sticking with your usual stance of anyone but Glasgow

I'm not to worried about the result , I still think we are more than capable of turning over the Tigers , Riss engine failure,  Anderson bike stops  when leading , them two incidents stopped using winning the match , seems to have changed for Riss since he was moved to 5 , reading the Tigers comments they seem to be very confident they will turn us over , bring it on do they remember the koc,  we won't be as poor at home next time round

He's supporting a team that gives a good racing experience not a win at any cost club , Tigers fans very confident if they race us in the semis,  we had an offer night and Glasgow win by 2 points, ;tells you a lot , do your lot not remember the KOC,  hopefully we see you in the semis then we will knock you out again , we won't be as poor next time round

Will Sam achieve an EMA after Glasgow's final two home meetings and/or will it stay at a 5, or maybe a 4 ?
