Predictable result ,,and no sympathy from me Kennet as bad as Woods ,,totally unreliable ,,did Cook bother to go .?

No sign of Cook.

Not a great advert as once again Leicester track not in great condition, lots of falls on first bend and a bit one sided in the end although no lack of effort from Eastie.

Good to see Leicester win a trophy though and very decent Crowd at both Fixtures I believe, certainly good at Leicester.

FromAFar- Not sure there is much in it Berwick to Leicester for Doolan or East Sussex to Leicester for Ed K. Although I did hear that the beer was rather good at the Longtrack in Germany last night

Ooh you little tinker! That must be where he picked his "knock" up from... aggravated his back opening a bottle of beer

There's 2 great gaping holes on the first turn where it's been worn down to the base, it's been like that for at least half the season. How often does Scott Nicholls come off on his own?

Scotty showed over those two matches that he can raise his game when he needs to, and help to get better performances from team mates. A real captains performance and let's hope he can replicate it for the playoffs. Just one thing to sort out, though, Dougy and him have a tendency to both go for the same piece of track at the same time, they need to sort that out asap!

The post-match presentation would have been much improved if the track lights had been switched on for it, even just those on the home straight. It was a bit difficult to pick them out of the fading daylight. And yes, that first bend problem also needs sorting.

Sheffield

Berwick that's why he's training to be a retained fireman in the town (Berwick programme and Speedway Star about five weeks ago).

Allegedly Kennett “picked up a knock” in his long track outing ... requiring a last minute gust booking . Credit to Doolan for stepping in at no notice .

Seems Eastbourne have some issues with rider commitment - with Woods absence from his IOW fixtures leading to a 28 day ban, and Kennett’s behaviour not what would be expected of a rider who started his career as a young lad at Eastbourne’s junior track .

At least you can rely on Richard Lawson. It's a funny old game though with Richard I believe now booked to guest for the Lions in the playoffs as his average has dropped to 8.24 compared to Richie Worrall 8.25.
