bloom89 489 Posted October 20, 2019 So Jordan Palin and now Jake Allen confirmed to return next season, that's a decent start there's plenty more to come from Allen imo. You would imagine Auty will be back also I think if you can get Nielsen at reserve on a 4.51 that would be a great move to take the pressure off young Palin. Scunny may as well give Birmingham a ring for the wooden spoon. The guy is fantastic entertainment but he's not a number
scunny1 434 Posted October 20, 2019 On todays showing Jordan Palin looks to be a very big risk. Could be a year too soon for him and I would rather see Anders Rowe, or Max Clegg at reserve.

Tosh1218 588 Posted October 22, 2019 Spoke to the team manager at the NLRC our team is done and dusted as are most other teams
thebaron 434 Posted October 27, 2019 With Sheffield elevated to the Premiership would that allow us to bring in Kyle Howarth ?. A team on the lines of Allen-.7.26, Auty-7.61, Howarth-7.15, Ayres-5.51, Lambert-5.16, Palin-2.00 = 34.69 leaving (assume 42.5 limit) = 7.81 to fill ?. That leaves quite a decent margin to fit in a quality 7th man -Ben Barker ? Although he may be in Plymouth sights for a return now they have stepped up ?. But I do think Howarth who is a Scunthorpe track "specialist" doubling up with us and Sheffield is now a distinct possibility.
