If the meeting is curtailed at heat 10 maybe they should just use the first 10 heats from both legs to calculate the aggregate score

Not a bad shout..

Especially in a comp with no Tac subs...

Cricket has its Duckworth Lewis Stern so not like it would be an unreasonable way to sort a result..

On a serious note.  If it does get called off after heat 10 with the witches 8pts up I assume it’s just hard luck.

I just hope we can get on with the meeting tonight and it not like the Swedish final and many meetings of late with false starts and the usual plethora of mechanics invading the track to top up the fuel and give the bikes a 10,000 mile service, then a return to the gate with the usual gardening adjusting the clutch and goggles and then one rider will turn around a go half way back round the track before the starting marshall even tries to get them to line up. False starts all four riders should be straight back to the tapes  and lined up and ready to start under a one minute warning, those bikes should be mechanically capable of doing that and fuelled accordingly. No mechanics allowed a the track and no return to the pits.

Unless there is a crash and your bike gets damaged, the bike you start the race on is the one you start the re run on..

Straight round, no stopping...

If after lap one an incident happens then riders can return to the pits gate, stay on track and review fuel only...

No messing with anything else...

Cant be too difficult to implement..

They prepare tracks slick because if it rains the idea is the rain runs off the track, however you cant race like that because it will be like ice, so you would have to wait for the rain to stop and then put dry dirt down or sawdust, if you have dirt down that gets wet, then you can scrape it off.
